Traits Design - Inspirations and Design The Dead Universe

Ok Let me begin with the the inspirations for Traits and Tech Traits I really like the Stellaris Ethos it has the following. these Ethics are ingrained in how you want to play the game and it's really awesome The  authoritarian - egalitarian  dichotomy looks at the worth of an individual.  The  xenophobe - xenophile  dichotomy looks at the acceptance of foreign species. The  militarist - pacifist  dichotomy looks at the merit of War. The  materialist - spiritualist  dichotomy looks at the nature of being and reality in general. for more you can see in Ethos  of Stellaris which is pretty awesome as to how the Game of Stellaris is thought out. So the above Ethics based Empire Traits might not be applicable to the Dead Universe but it's dual theory of either A or B appealed to me very much So when I created the 3 Traits based on them Traits for the Empire's I thought it them in the following The Objective - Relative dichoto...

The Dead Universe - Design

I wanted to give glimpse of the game The Dead Universe gameplay and design thoughts of the game as what I am currently working on When I first conceptualized the Dying Universe I thought it as a Single Plane being Stretched for eternity, and in that Universe every nook and corner is filled with Empires and there is some friction between them always, so how will it be a 4X Game when the whole Universe is already explored or exploited? the simple answer is the new Universe is in altogether different Plane. It is in a new Map/Plane of the new Universe where the Empires have some sort of Outpost or the colony except few races or Empires which start in Red Dwarf  so here's the Excel extract of how the Map will be.
