My First work place and where I found resources to Learn and Work?
So this is my first blog and I am writing it a year later after this has happen it's been few months I have already started working in Cerner I felt I need to document my thoughts and things I have been learning, So I remembered it was around Feb 2012 I was working in a small firm and mostly learning, it was already one month since I joined that place and there were only 2-4 developers and the whole month was exciting because I joined as a developer on Jan 2012 and there was lot of work to be done and lot of things to be known, I have been tasked to work on a aspx web-application, C# windows application and MS-SQL (which was not new for me) as I had worked on the same thing in my internship, but there were lot of things to learn some times it was frustrating because many of our team member's were at a similar technical level as I was and
Go through the following line if you want to understand .NET and TALLY, and I did the following research and work because not many knew how to communicate with TALLY and get data out of it
- The first place that I would find my resources was msdn(Microsoft Developer Network), but incidentally I did not learn C#/Java (Managed Virtual machine's core languages) in my college.
- So I had joined Uttara Infotech Bangalore for Java training and
- I bought this awesome book called Head First C# which thought me lot of things in C# world, how CLR works and what's the interaction between OS and Virtual machine and overall language concepts, Vikram who was our instructor at Uttara was pretty awesome,
- I remember starting classes on Nov 2011 I went to classes in the morning and then went to office so it was helping me work better lot of C#'s concepts were similar to Java like running in Virtual Machine and no multiple-inheritance and I felt like I have learned a lot of things in my life by working in small firm.
- Because there I learned from developing software to deploying the code to servicing, I feel bad that I did not document all of the things that I did there but I did document what I felt others need to know
