In the Game Dead Universe The Main strength of the Maui'Phi is that you have unlike other races you can travel limitedly with less speed around stars in the Dead Universe because the sentient fungoid knows which body part is accessible and which is not . This sentient fungoid creatures have following trait One Mind(Absolute Population and Government Control) Peaceful. Abhorrent desperate The Fungoid colony has other Tech-Traits Narrow Science. Sentient Upgrade. Archeon So Maui'Phi has a main objective to save whole Universe and it's bound by those thoughts you can change it in the beginning but you're stuck with your decision till the end of the game, so Maui'Phi growth only happens if old Universe's fungoid Planets could be saved or atleast Colony could be saved.
